Tattoo Cover-up consultations involve working with Ben in discussing and planning possible themes and designs that may work best with your existing tattoo.
Ben will hold a short ‘pen-to-skin’ session where he will sketch and sculpt possible designs over the existing tattoo to provide a rough visual idea of what outcome is achievable.
Existing tattoo cover-ups are best tackled using opaque colour pigments that can guarantee solid and even coverage. Diluted, grey-wash imagery will not cover the tattoo properly, and Ben will provide expert advice on how to best work with designs and colours suited to your ideas.
Patience is required for tattoo cover-ups and typically requires two sessions to ensure a strong and lasting result. However, in cases where the previous tattoo can be used to an advantage; Ben may incorporate elements into a new layer and finish the product in one session.
